5 - Promulgation Statement

The Dallas County Health Department, in conjunction with local governmental officials and cooperating private or volunteer organizations, have developed a local public health emergency plan that will enhance their emergency response capability.  This document is the result of that effort.  

This plan, when used properly and updated annually, can assist the local public health agency in accomplishing one of their primary responsibilities – protecting the lives and property of citizens and property.  This plan and its provisions will become official when it has been signed and dated below by the concurring officials.
